The course is designed for parents, expectant parents, grandparents, babysitters, foster parents and carers of babies and young children. Designed to be informal  and flexible first aid session making skills simple to do and easy to remember. Aims to teach you a range of first aid skills to cope with emergency situations for babies and children. Plus time for Q&A’s


Learn the essential skills to be able to confidently deal with:

Unconsciousness (breathing and not breathing)

Basic life support (CPR)

Choking

Seizures

Head injuries

Swallowing harmful substance

Drowning

Raised temperature

Meningitis

Severe allergic reactions -Anaphylaxis

Course length. 3 -4 hrs

Tutor lead/classroom based.

This is a relaxed, flexible and informal first aid session which aims to demystify first aid for all ages groups. This course makes learning first aid simple and easy to remember. Using relevant, real-life scenarios and everyday household objects.





Learn the essential skills to help someone who:

Is unconsciousness (breathing and not breathing)

is choking

is bleeding

is having a seizure

had a head injuries

Swallowing harmful substance

severe allergic reactions -Anaphylaxis

Bleeding

has a burn or scald

has a broken bone

This course covers first aid training for children aged 8 years and under and  will equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to confidently administer a wide range of first aid treatments which are especially tailored to children. including many common injuries, specific childhood conditions and also life-threatening emergencies.

Certificate which is valid for 3 years and meets all NCMA and Ofsted guidelines.

2 day paediatric first aid course is a mandatory requirement for a child minding NVQ and meets all NCMA and Ofsted guidelines.
