First  Aid at Work for health professionals

1 day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training course adapted to the needs of health professionals working in low - moderate risk environments. Suitable for GPs,  osteopaths physiotherapists chiropractors and others


Learn the essential skills to help someone who:

Principles of first aid

Assessing an emergency situation

Unconsciousness (breathing and not breathing)

Managing seizures and shock

Basic life support (CPR)

Introduction to the use of a defibrillator AED

Wounds and external bleeding

Industry-specific training available

Other minor injuries


Course length  1 day - 6 hrs

Tutor lead/classroom based.

Continuous assessment by trainer

Upon successful completion of the multiple-choice question paper and practical exercises, each attendee will receive an HSE approved and nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years.
